The 1967-1968 Shelby Mustang Cobra GT 500 that was manufactured by Shelby American. The GT 500 was assembled in Los Angeles in 1967 and Ionia, Michigan in 1968. And in February of 1968 the Cobra GT 500 was name "King of the Road". As for the specs on the Cobra the body style is a 2-door fastback in 1967 and in 1968 there was the option of a 2-door convertible. The Cobra GT 500 had a 428 cu in 7.0L V8 engine for the King of the Road series and for the standard the Cobra GT 500 had a 427 cu in 7.0L V8 engine, and as for the transmission there was an option between a 3-speed automatic and a 4-speed manual. The 1967 Cobra GT 500 was also shown in the 2000 movie Gone in 60 seconds as the rare and prized car known as Eleanor. I'm not a very big mustang fan but when it comes to the GT 500 I love the car very much its loud and roars and has a very muscular body to it, not only that but the massive amount of power under the hood.
